Food, uniforms and baby bags are our interim solutions. Alongside them we run programmes built to create lasting change, so we never just give for a month and walk away.
Young Mums & Babies
Many young mothers in our community have little or no family support. Without safe, reliable childcare, they're often forced to choose between caring for their baby and continuing their education.
We provide "Mum & Baby Bags" packed with baby essentials: clothing, formula, nappies, wipes, vaseline, soap and more, to give mums the essentials they need, alongside regular home visits when needed.
95+ mums supported so far.

Schooling is free in our outreach areas, but children still need a uniform, shoes, a bag and stationery just to walk through the gate. Without them, many simply stop attending because they're not allowed to attend.
We provide these essentials directly, and in some cases cover travel costs too, so that a lack of basics is never the reason a child misses school.
400+ school uniforms distributed so far.
Both programmes keep young people learning. The next step is turning that learning into employment, which is where our Skills Development and Job Readiness programmes come in.

Turning skills into work
Skills open the door; job readiness helps young people walk through it. We help with CVs, job applications and interview preparation, including interview role play. Two success stories this year: one mum who left school at Grade 10 is now in a full-time job, and another started her own small business while still in school. Our entrepreneurship programme and mentoring deliver real results.
Community Sports
Our community football programme builds confidence, teamwork and belonging — giving young people a positive, structured space to grow together. It gives them a place to go after school, a coach who shows up for them and a mentor they can trust, and it helps keep them out of trouble.
40+ boys regularly involved in our community football programme.
Grant & ID Assistance
Helping families access the grants and ID documentation they're entitled to — often the first step towards accessing education, healthcare and social support.
35+ ID and birth certificate applications facilitated.
Community Support
Responding to practical needs within our wider community — from emergency food parcels to everyday support that helps vulnerable families get by.
100+ emergency food parcels provided to vulnerable families.
